We’re building chrt, a platform for time-critical freight forwarding. We’re a small team of developers, working on hard problems, and building software that matters in the physical world.

Five people. A lot to build.
Our customers are signing six- and seven-figure annual deals for ForwarderOS, our agentic operating system, and we have a queue waiting for paid pilots. We’re bringing on a few more engineers between now and our Series A, then continuing to grow the team from there.
Our market spends roughly $50 billion a year on software and $500 billion on labor. By building both software and AI agents, we can serve both sides of that opportunity.
We’re hiring across:
Backend
Build our core services in Python, FastAPI, and Temporal. We’re looking for an excellent Python engineer who can navigate complex integrations, rigorous requirements, and data modeling across Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, and more.
Agent evaluations
Build the evaluation and simulation systems that make AI agents measurably better. You’ve worked on harnesses, synthetic datasets, failure analysis, and the iteration loop that turns an observed failure into a better product.
Data engineering
Turn messy, unfamiliar data into dependable pipelines and warehouses. You’ve built systems using dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions, star schemas, and Databricks, and you know how to choose and manage compute. This work goes well beyond writing SQL.
Frontend / mobile
Build the interfaces people rely on to move time-critical freight. Bring deep expertise in TypeScript + Next.js + React, Swift, or Kotlin. Strength across more than one of these is even better.
Infrastructure / reliability
Own the production infrastructure behind chrt. Build the observability, reliability, and operational practices that keep everything running well as the product and our customers’ operations grow.
Machine learning
Own the full path from dataset construction through training, evaluation, and deployment. You’ve trained models across different problems and have deep, hands-on ML experience that extends beyond using model APIs.
